I agree advertisers are the worst offenders. My dad worked in advertising for Coke and Pepsi at various times in his life and had never heard that aspertame was harmful. He also sold Raid products and truly believed that they were not harmful to humans and animals. No, they just kill small insects but have no effects on us. He said the head guy at Raid would spray the insecticide on his tongue to prove it wouldn't kill. I would love to know what happened to that guy.
