Crazy weather
First it rained nineteen days straight, then no rain for almost two months, then last night. I was up all night from my NOAA radio going off. Tornado warnings.
No tornadoes showed up, but we got four and a half inches of rain, and most of my corn was flattened from the wind. Not a big loss, as I started it too late in the year, I think. No ears, just tassels.
Too bad my rainbarrels aren’t here yet! The wheelbarrow out back is full, the buckets I use to hold kitchen scraps when I’m too lazy to walk to the compost pile are half full, my koi pond is full and the grass is sodden.
But at least my internet works now! The guy came out today and fixed it all up.
