REP’s 2007 Republican Environmental Leadership Conference
Republicans for Environmental Protection just announced their 2007 Leadership Conference.
This conference is designed to help Republican elected officials, candidates for office, and concerned citizens understand and address in a conservative way the key environmental and conservation issues of our day—those interrelated matters of energy, land conservation, and global warming—as well as quality of life and property rights.
We have a tremendous lineup of confirmed speakers, including conservative commentator Rod Dreher, author of “Crunchy Cons;” Dr. Joel Hunter, an evangelical pastor and national leader on Christian environmental stewardship; Whit Ayres, a highly regarded GOP pollster; Dr. Terry Maple, co-author with Newt Gingrich of a forthcoming book on environmental issues; GOP elected officials; and experts on specific topics. We have invited California Governor Arnold Schwarzenegger to be our Saturday night dinner speaker, and we expect to have an answer from him soon.
Whether you’re running for office or just want to learn about critical environmental issues from a conservative perspective, the 2007 Republican Environmental Leadership Conference is not to be missed.
